Ruby Bridges

Ruby was born in 1954 in Tylertown , Mississppi, she was the one of the first Black girls to go to a all white school, her mom wanted her to get the best education and when she went to school all the white parents began to protest because they though whites were better and shoudn't be taught with black people. Ruby was taught in a classroom by herslef and a teacher and on another level of floor. She graduated and wanted to help other black students get a better education so she started the Ruby Bridges Foundation. She made a big impact at the time because blacks were scared to put their children in a all white school and i think by her going to a all white school it made others relize that their children could do the same.

Jonesboro shootings

A 13 year old named Mitchell and a 11 year named Golden shot and fired and killed four students and a teacher and wounded ten . They had practice before guns. they had alot of weapons in a van. They were minors so they coudn't be charged . So Arkansa decided to put them in a instution and release untill they both turned 21 . It dosen't say why they did it but they think its all those violent video games and movies out their. They don't even have a criminal record which i think they should, what they did was wrong and you never know if in the future they can do that again. The angle of this story i think it is that we shoudln't care how old you are if you get comitt a crime you should be charged no matter what age you are. This story i think was unusualness because it was to younger kids comitting a crime, in a way its significant because it might of affected the parents that had their children in that school and they didn't think that would happen in their kids school.

Gas for McDonald's soda fountain caused Ga. death

It was about the soda fountain a death to a women and got 8 people sick. They say it was because a leaky gas that cause that. They didn't press charges to Mcdonalds beacuse it seems like it was a mistake, so they just changed the sodas foutain gas lines. I think that maybe the women that died in the bathroom maybe he had breathing problems because she was way older and died at 80 and noone else died except her. Also woudln't peope relize if they coudn't breathe and would imediately tell someone in the resteraunt. I think it was prominence beacuse Mcdonalds is a famous Fast food resteraunt and alot of people eat there.

I dont think the baby was hispanic , because they said they found angels and a bracelet that protects the evil. It dosen't mean that it would be a hispanic baby. Also the mother should get some help beacause you don't do that to your child , unless you have a mental disorder.  I like that they named the girl Angel because she is now in heaven and it goes with her name. At the end they still are looking for the mother I think they should find the mother and ask why she did that to her baby, and if she didnt want it why not give it to someone who would take care of it, instead of doing what she did.

Tuesday Opening Activity

My response to the article is that i think that Facebook was very popular but now to me it seems boring, i would go on everyday but now i barly do. Facebook is about knowing what others are doing. and i think google plus will be the same just more sharing information , it would attract more people that like to play games . and mayebe the people that like corlorful stuff.
